Fun in the Sun

As summer rolled into Carmel Valley there was a Wine and Art Festival in June that has become quite popular for locals as well as visitors.

Unusual crafts, like wine bottle toppers.
Purchasing a glass gets you a tasting at the wineries in the village, and  that would be 16!
Mark Chesebro pouring some of his delicious wine.

There is delightful art work by local artists such as Erin Gafill and Kathy Klawans Smith.  Bands are playing at each of the three locations and all within walking distance.

Pete Azevedo giving rides on his tractor/wagon.

Kathy Smith showing her Venice in the Valley jewelry.

One of Erin Gafill's Big Sur barns.

Parsonage, one of our favorites.

Dawn engaged with Dawn's Dream.

The  festival  has activities for kids like face painting and pony rides.  Much fun to be had in Carmel Valley sunshine!
